Big Al's Creek House is like NOTHING else in the Poconos (or anywhere else)!
The Creek House is a retro-rustic getaway with luxe lodge touches and plush amenities (including wi-fi and satellite TV) – all in an ultra-private creekside setting. This peaceful, fully equipped house features design with a mountain cabin feel that takes you back to a simpler time. Plus, you’re close to all the MANY attractions the area has to offer. In fall and winter, enjoy the sounds of a warm, crackling fire and the creek rushing outside your window, and toast friends and family in style, comfort and serenity. In spring and summer, fish the creek from your own wooden bridge, have dinner on the back patio and/or sit in the brand new cedar hot tub with Pensyl Creek rushing by and the stars twinkling above!
The Pocono Mountains offer four seasons of endless fun and a tremendous variety of diversions such as swimming, rafting, hiking, gambling, go-karting, horseback riding, outlet shopping, antiquing or just plain relaxing.
There are numerous ski areas like Camelback, Jack Frost or Big Boulder that, in winter, offer sledding and world-class skiing. In summer, you and your family can canoe down the Delaware River, hike along the Appalachian Trail, drive to historic Jim Thorpe or charming Milford, or visit Skytop Lodge, Mount Airy Lodge, Shawnee Resort/Playhouse, Great Wolf Lodge, Poconos Raceway, Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area or hundreds of other incredible places. A short drive will also take you to Lake Wallenpaupak for motorboat rentals, water skiing, Jet Ski rentals, sailing or fishing.
